Sue Rathell joined the Acacia Life Insurance Company’s first sales staff in the Dover, Delaware office in September 1981. She worked as a career agent at the Dover, Delaware sales office until May 1989 when she was employed by the Customer Service Department of Acacia Life Insurance Company’s Home Office in Washington, DC., where she serviced policyholders. Sue continued that work until the Acacia Life Insurance Company merged with Ameritas Life Insurance Corp. in 1999. Since 1999 Sue worked as an Independent Agent who has been involved in the sale and service of financial products, and she affiliated as an Independent Agent with the Acacia Financial Advisors LLC in 2006.
As an Independent Agent, Sue’s sales and service experience is a valuable asset in providing outstanding, comprehensive customer service to her clients who have existing policies. That experience is also valuable in advising new or existing clients on products that will serve their needs. Sue services clients in Delaware, Maryland and Virginia, to assist them in selecting life insurance, health insurance, long-term care, disability income, and retirement products that will meet their needs.
Sue has been involved in community volunteer service activities, and formerly served in several officer positions with the Delaware Life Underwriters.
