David Decker has over 10 years of experience in financial sales and services, and has a strong service orientation. He works with clients continually in helping meet their long-term financial needs. He has been involved since 2005 in servicing clients who have existing universal and whole life insurance policies. Because universal life insurance policies feature flexible premium payments and are interest rate sensitive, the policies require periodic review and may require actions by clients to meet their life insurance objectives. David recommends to clients’ actions that they can take to provide for their long-term life insurance needs.
David also has been actively involved in providing administrative support to independent agents of Acacia Financial Advisors LLC. This has provided him with technical and administrative knowledge of fixed insurance products that he sells and services to meet the needs of his clients.
David holds life and health insurance licenses. He completed an extensive course in the financial planning process, insurance, investment, retirement, taxation, and estate planning in 2005.
Before joining Acacia Financial Advisors LLC, David serviced retirement plans at a local bank for two years and at credit union for one and one-half years. Before that, he served as a supervisory auditor in the Federal Government.
David received a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Elizabethtown College, Elizabethtown, PA, and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the University of North Dakota. He also completed four years of military service in the U.S. Air Force.
